Tony McIntyre
Tony McIntyre. UKIP candidate for Torbay.
Tony was an English and History teacher for 30 years. He was Head of English at every school he taught at. He and his wife moved to Devon in 2005. In 2008 he was invited to join the board of Devon Wheels to Work, a company providing transport services to enable people in rural areas to commute to work. He is the chairman of the Devon County Branch of UKIP.

Graham Smith
Graham Smith. UKIP candidate for Tiverton & Honiton.
A family man with 3 children, Graham is Chairman of the Tiverton and Honiton Branch of UKIP. He feels we must leave the EU to regain control of our borders and negotiate free trade deals with the rest of the world. He and his wife Sue ran their own successful business before moving to Honiton. He now provides a general repair and maintenance service for the Honiton area.

Justin Haque
Justin Haque, UKIP Parliamentary Candidate for Totnes.
Justin and his wife moved to Devon in 2011 where he joined UKIP. His civil servant father came from India, his mother from Cirencester. Justin graduated in History and Politics then worked for 23 years in the City, he then moved his stock broking firm to Devon. His concerns include, protecting Devon's NHS and Social Services, preserving countryside and coast, defending farming, fishing and tourism, and raising awareness of the challenges facing the young and vulnerable.

Derek Sargent
Derek Sargent Parliamentary Candidate for Torridge & West Devon.
Derek and his wife have lived in Devon since 1988 when he retired as a Captain in the Royal Marines. He has been a businessman, a security industry consultant in Angola, a fraud investigator and consultant for local authorities. His final role was with the Exeter Insolvency Service as a bankruptcy investigator. Derek became President of the North Devon Branch of the Royal Marines Association and a Trustee of the National Charity. He is the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal organiser for Northam and Westward Ho!.

Steve Scrowther
Steve Crowther (Party Chairman)

Steve is Chairman of UKIP and a local Parish Councillor. He was born in North Devon and lives near Braunton. He spent 30 years as a writer and businessman. He led the fight against the Atlantic Array windfarm. As chairman of "Defend North Devon" he works for a sustainable approach to housing development and campaigns against the EU's Fisheries Policy and the extinction of North Devon's fishing fleet.

Roy Kettle
Roy Kettle UKIP Parliamentary Candidate for Plymouth Sutton and Devonport.
Roy has lived in Plymouth for 15 years, he will focus on local jobs, transport links and defence. He has worked in finance (private and public sectors) and ran his own business. UKIP aims to regain control of our borders and leave the EU. He is concerned about job security in Devonport dockyard and the university. He will fight for good transport links into Devon including a second rail link.
Andrew Chapman

Andrew is recently retired and lives in Ottery St Mary. He was a schoolteacher before founding Guitar Workshops, a music teaching and performing business. As a qualified accountant, he set up STAFF Accounting, specialising in services to the self-employed; he has been treasurer or chairman of many local community organisations.

Penny Mills, UKIP Parliamentary candidate for Plymouth Moor View.
Penny is married, lives in Devon and runs a small business. Penny is a passionate campaigner against the constant erosion of the defence industry, the sale of Plymouth's green spaces for housing, the closure of Plymouth airport, the lack of decently paid jobs for local people and the failure to invest in infrastructure. Robin Julian, UKIP Parliamentary Candidate for Southwest Devon.
Robin, a family man and farmer, runs a transport training company. He is a UKIP Group Leader and Devon County Councillor and a member of several committees concerning wellfare and the countryside. His aims include, maintaining front line services, investing in NHS and dentistry, border controls to restrict access by criminals, more apprenticeships, affordable housing, keep police stations open 24/7, more support for ex-servicemen, fairer tax on low earners, scrapping zero hours contracts.

John Conway, UKIP Parliamentary Candidate for Central Devon.

John is a Devonian from a long line of Devonians. He has one son living at home with himself and his wife. John worked in Launceston Tax Office and took early retirement when the office closed. His work revealed the economic hardships endured by many in our constituency. He runs a motorcycle training organization covering South Devon and East Cornwall. He is a Launceston Town Councillor having topped the poll at the last election.

Rod Peers, UKIP Parliamentary Candidate for Newton Abbot.
Rod Peers is married with two sons at university. He has lived in Newton Abbot for nearly 30 years. He was a governor at Decoy Primary School for 16 years, and Chair of Governors for ten years. He was a member of Round Table for many years. Rod is delighted to have received this nomination from UKIP, and will be working hard in the coming months to support the people of Newton Abbot.
