Despite the tidal wave of Conservative voting during the local elections, UKIP Team Dorset were pleased with nine councillors taking seats and district, borough, town and parish level. In total x115 UKIP candidates stood in the county, of which three were elected to borough and district level, the remaining six were instated within town or parish councils.
Congratulations to all of them, with special mention to Laurence Fear, our former chairman of Bournemouth West, who topped the poll in Kinson South (pictured).
