William Dartmouth MEP was interviewed on ITV’s Election Special, and outlined his thoughts on the rise of the SNP in Scotland.
Recounting the actions of the Labour Party who set devolution in motion in 1997, William made the point that by setting up a Scottish Parliament, a focal point and springboard was given for patriotic Scottish opinion. By making this new democratic layer, the Labour government had set-up their own party’s demise. As William said; “if you sow the wind, you reap the whirlwind.”
